We are a diverse group of riders with all types of motorcycles. The key that holds us all together is the love of riding. Although we are based in Lexington, KY, we have members from all over the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky and beyond. Riders from all over are welcome and encouraged to join!
Kentucky Vulcan Riders is a chapter of the Vulcan Riders Association (VRA) which has chapters world wide. Our group is a non-profit organization and is classified as a Riding Club (RC). Our members are a wide variety of people from all walks of life. Regardless of 2 wheels or 3, experienced or not, we openly welcome riders of all makes, models and experience levels. Our local chapter meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month. We have chapter rides the first and third Saturdays of each month with some impromptu rides sprinkled in on other weekends. For more information on scheduled rides and meetings please check our Meetup page. For more information about the Kentucky Vulcan Riders please visit the About Us page.
Each year we organize a charity event called Ride for the Kids to benefit the local Shriners Hospital. With the help of the event sponsor, Gateway Cycles, and our friends from the Oleika Shrine Temple, our event includes a scenic ride through the Blugrass Area, great items to be raffled off, good food, door prizes, live music and a bike show. All of our events are family friendly, so bring the kids! For more information about the event, please visit our Ride for the Kids page.
